Keeping it local

Tydus Peterborough enjoyed a fantastic day participating in the Great Eastern Run, Anna’s Hope 5km, on Sunday 16th October, with friends and family. Starting on the Embankment surrounded by Anna’s hope angels in their glittery wings, all the runners and supporters were treated to a beautiful autumnal day as we ran under the starting arch. Along Bourges Boulevard, turning down Cowgate and through the historic Cathedral Square up to Central Park, the marshalls and well-wishers with their friendly faces and encouraging clapping were a very welcome sight. It was a true family event, not only with our very own 4 & 6 year old team members running for Tydus (and completing the race in an incredible 44 minutes!) but the whole way round we encountered many a parent puffing to keep up with their 8 year old children or urging them to run on without them! Well done Peterborough and Good Running Events, the challenge is on for the Great Eastern Run Half Marathon next year!
