Local Living take the tour.

Last month we enjoyed sharing our enthusiasm for Peterborough with Nicholas Rudd-Jones (Publisher and Editor) from Local Living and we went off on a walking tour around Peterborough.

Kick-starting the tour at Bewiched Coffee at Fletton Quays, we were joined for an introduction by Nick Carter, Director for Growth and Regeneration at Peterborough Council. He spoke of the funds secured for projects including the well documented £48 million for the station improvements, £23 million Towns Fund for projects in the City Centre and footbridge across the River Nene.

Hearing these financial commitments, Nicholas Rudd-Jones was further intrigued to hear Peterborough has one of the lowest retail vacancy rates of anywhere in the country. Ready to hear more, we whisked him off to point out the development pipeline from both public and private investments. Local Living magazine featured an encouraging article about the Peterborough transformation in the April issue.
