Growing demand in flexible office solutions

FI Real Estate have confirmed plans to expand its FigFlex offering to meet continuing demand in these flexible office solutions.

FigFlex Offices, the flexible space provider owned by FI Real Estate Management, has set out plans to expand three of its sites across regional locations to "meet growing demand" for its accommodation, increasing the company's total floorplate by around a third.

The outfit will add almost 600 desk spaces across its centres in Peterborough, Coventry and Southampton, as well as providing an additional 20 co-working desks and meeting rooms.

It will see FigFlex increasing its portfolio to almost 150,000 sq ft of flexible workspace, including meeting rooms and co-working areas, able to accommodate all sizes of companies from SMEs to multinationals.

In Peterborough at its Lynch Wood Park location, the outfit will add 159 new desks, plus 20 co-working desks and four meeting rooms at FigFlex. Its total floorspace at the offices will ramp up by 90%.

The expansion follows 12 months of "huge growth" across its UK portfolio, with the business's turnover rocketing by 600% since August 2022. FI Real Estate Management launched the business in 2020, with it also operating sites in London, Gloucester, Hull, Swindon and Watford.

FigFlex chief operating officer Charlie Cudworth said: "The flexible, serviced office sector continues to mature and attract large national and multinational companies seeking turnkey flexible solutions as their business models evolve.

"We have the prime central locations and high quality facilities to rival the market leaders... As demand grows, so will we."
