Peterborough sits number 1

Peterborough sits in first place in the top ten commuter places to live outside London, thanks to speedy trains to London’s Kings Cross, affordable house prices and beautiful local villages and countryside.

Peterborough is deemed to be an attractive location for Londoners looking for ‘a slightly slower pace of life’, ‘a bit more space and greenery’ and ‘better value for money’, according to TimeOut.

The article published earlier this month follows the esctatic news that Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) was named ‘University of the Year 2023’ back in December, the Times Higher Awards, known as the ‘Oscars of the university sector’.

Positioned so conveniently and with an excellent nationally recognised education hub, it makes sense for the City Council to launch its vision for continued growth and welcome opportunities for investment into the city via their new investment brochure.
